The School Board of Directors acts as a bridge between our local Strafford community (taxpayers, parents) and White River Valley Supervisory Union administrators by representing local needs, advocating for students' best interests, and thoughtfully communicating board decisions.

The School Board also provides oversight and strategic direction for the K-12 Strafford School District. The Board oversees the District’s budget and other holdings, and has a voice in the oversight of the WRVSU's resources. Further, the Board directs education strategy by considering and enacting the rules, practices, processes, and structures used to guide and manage the District. The Board welcomes public comment at board meetings, most often held the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the school, with a virtual attendance option.
